Mary M. Malaszek, Principal Manager/Founder
Mary uses her 25 years of experience to help companies fulfill their purpose of creating and servicing a satisfied customer.
Holding various corporate positions at Fortune 500 Companies such as IBM, Hewlett Packard, Chase and Verizon, Mary learned the value and importance of knowledge— in getting the job done. Now, as Market Directions Principal Manager she helps companies realize the value and importance of knowledge to get ahead of the competition and grow, profitably.
Unlike the sometimes cumbersome structure of large firm’s, Malaszek started Market Directions small and remains small in order to stay in touch with her clients and the process. Mary is able to give clients personalized attention and believes in delivering excellence on time, and on budget.
Having a broad perspective Mary looks at the “big picture”; this and her 25 years of experience enables her to see gaps and roadblocks that may be limiting results of current marketing efforts. Mary finds strong, smart solutions through efficient, effective processes. Mary has a Bachelors Degree in Finance from Rochester Institute of Technology, has completed her graduate work at the University of Rochester and has professional qualifications in Marketing, Market Research and Product Management.
Janice Pagano, Associate
Janice brings her retail experience to Market Directions, specializing in consumer spending. For consumer products and service companies, Janice has planned and completed new product introductions, promotions and ongoing communications programs to consumer audiences. She has also implemented marketing communication research, communications audits and image assessments to help clients through the strategic planning process. Janice is able to give clients personalized attention and believes in delivering excellence on time, and on budget.
